  3.     Now today, I thought I might instil some enthusiasm into the

  5. mag, and play my Oasis stuff really really loudly while everyone

  7. was typing their articles. For some reason, this didn't seem to aid
  8.  
  9. their creative skills and they promptly took out my tape and stamped on
  10.  
  11. it. Now usually, this would have bust the tape, but because Oasis are
  12.  
  13. well 'ard, it didn't (spot Molgrat's joke). 
  14.  
  15.     Now, for some strange reason, if you haven't heard of Oasis (not
  16.  
  17. likely I know, but it fills up the space), then here is a rough
  18.  
  19. low-down. Oasis appeared on the music scene a while back. But no-one 
  20.  
  21. really took any notice of them until their Cigarettes & Alcohol single
  22.  
  23. was released in Alcohol Awareness Week. This was an absolutely #7More>>>
  24.  
  25. @1blinding single, with some searing vocals from the lead singer Liam 
  26.  
  27. Gallagher.
  28.  
  29.     His brother Noel Gallagher (Strangely enough) plays the guitar
  30.  
  31. and also does some lead vocals of his own. But not often 'cause he's not
  32.  
  33. as good as Liam. Although he's a nicer fella (But I didn't say that).

  37.     Since I'm meant to be reviewing Oasis's latest album, I'll start right

  66.     Hello is a good classic rocky type twangy track. It starts off really

  68. well, with a very quiet WonderWall intro. I think that they put this on

  70. just so you turn the volume up high, to be deafened quite superbly by

  72. a loud ( normally, on high volume it buggers your speakers up ) #7More>>>

  76. along very well with Liam telling you not to be so lonely by (and I quote)

  80.  mate. The chorus is very deep, with them going on about life being made up
  81.  
  82. of wasted opportunities, and life being short because " the years are

  84. falling about like the rain ". Very nice I must say.

  86. UPPERS - EveryThing but the strange bits in the Lyrics.

  88. DOWNERS - Have a guess.

  94.     This has been on Top Of The Pops too many times so I won't bore you

  134. lyrics as soon as the guitar kicks in, and has an absolutely

  136. heart - rending chorus.

  140. DOWNERS - It's....ermmm......ermmmm.....written by a Manc.

  171.     On the Lyrics it only takes up two verses but it goes on for at

  173. least 2.5 minutes. It's all about a man who lost his pride. And so lost

  175. his soul, hence the " Cast no Shadow " when he faced the sun. Makes sense

  179. Overall -  8/10 (for the weird lyrics)

  183.     This is a well strange song. But still very very good. It's all about

  185. a girl (who's electric) and her family ( who's eccentric - spot the

  187. rhyme ). It's goes on but has a great tune and is well worth tapping your

  189. feet (or any other extremity) to.
